Dixie Carter turned down multiple invitations to appear in Dark Side of the Ring's upcoming three-part TNA Wrestling documentary, according to PWInsider. Carter served as TNA president for 15 years after her family's company, Panda Energy, purchased TNA in the fall of 2002 and kept it alive when original investor HealthSouth Ltd pulled out amid a fraud scandal. She held the role until 2017. Jeff Jarrett sat down for extensive interviews for the series. Jim Cornette, Vince Russo, and The Hardys also participated. Matt Hardy said both he and Jeff Hardy each gave more than two hours of interview time, and described the documentary as a redemption story. "Not only did we talk about how Jeff Jarrett came out the other end in a much better place and how he has gained everyone's respect from what he has done, we talked about the condition of TNA right now, how it is in a good place and it is actually thriving on AMC."
