Add 10–15% on top for taxes, overhead, and the inevitable “can we just tweak one thing.” They’re going to negotiate down, so build in the room before they ask. 03 — Don’t negotiate against yourself Your rate isn’t arbitrary. It’s your hours, your experience, your render times at 2am. Hold the number. If they push back, you already padded for it. If they don’t — great, that’s yours.
