As Featured on imagesofcanada , vancity ,and enjoycanada|My two favourite things about Vancouver are her Sunrise and her clouds. So when both of these things came together a few months ago, I had the opportunity to get one of the best shots I’ve ever taken. I woke up to the stunning colours in the sky: vibrant orange, bleeding into crimson, with a sense of pink up high in the atmosphere. The city was buried in an ocean of clouds with only the peak of the tallest building breaking through. For the years I’ve lived here I have seen sunrises close to as beautiful as this one, and I have also seen clouds that descended lower. But these 2 things happening together blew me away, and my immediate thought was, ”I will never see this again.” In the same moment I was also very appreciative of photography, as I was able to freeze this moment forever.
