Poolesville High School’s coed volleyball team made history Thursday night, capturing the Montgomery County championship with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Sherwood and finishing the season undefeated. The title marks the first county championship in recent program history for the Falcons, capping off a memorable season for a senior class that took the court knowing it would be their final time playing together for Poolesville. Leading the way was senior captain Jaylin Anderson (#6), who guided the Falcons from the setter position with what coaches described as composure, passion, and determination throughout the season.
