A massive fire shut down part of Interstate 10 in Tucson after a semi truck hauling multiple vehicles suddenly caught fire Wednesday afternoon. 😳 According to officials, the flames broke out on a car hauler traveling eastbound near Wilmot Road. Video from the scene showed several vehicles on the trailer completely engulfed as thick black smoke poured across the freeway and could be seen from miles away. The fire forced closures on the eastbound lanes of I-10 while Tucson Fire crews worked to contain the blaze and clear burned vehicles from the highway. Authorities have not yet confirmed exactly what sparked the fire, but the flames appeared to spread quickly through the loaded car carrier once it ignited.
