Phoenix officials have approved new restrictions on data centers tied to the massive Halo Vista development surrounding TSMC’s north Phoenix campus 😳🏗️ According to city documents, the updated agreement places limits on how much of the 2,300-acre project can become data centers as Phoenix continues preparing for major semiconductor-related growth in the area. The Halo Vista project is expected to include industrial space, offices, hotels, retail, apartments, major infrastructure upgrades, and other commercial development surrounding TSMC’s rapidly expanding semiconductor campus. Officials say the project could eventually include nearly 30 million square feet of development and support tens of thousands of jobs tied to Arizona’s growing semiconductor industry.
