🤯 you blew up my DM's about this... And it's going to piss off so many people but it has to be said, gentle parenting is ruining parents. I'm tired of feeling like I'm the bad guy for trying to create a safe and respectful environment for ALL children in parks, on playground, or at parties. Esp for young/little ones or a child with a disability. And FWIW the problem isn't me or your child, the problem is often you. Active parenting is a non negotiable - especially if you have small children. It's really not anyone else's job to parent your kids but what do you do when you see your child's safety at risk? Over and over again - I default to letting kids work it out among themselves but after it happens the 5th time, I think it's time an adult steps in. Any other parents feeling this way lately? What's right /wrong in this scenario?! #parentingtips #gentleparenting parenting modern • advice • park rules
