I geeked out today leaving Seattle (my first time there!) and seeing Mount St. Helens & the Cascade mountains! Took me back to 3rd GRADE when it erupted exactly 46 years ago tomorrow - May 18, 1980 - I’ve been obsessed with it ever since!! (Immediately pulled out my laptop and watched documentaries about the eruption for the remaining 3 1/2 hours of my flight 😂) What a gorgeous part of our beautiful country…can’t wait to go back and stay for more than 36 hours next time! 🏔️ 🇺🇸
