May 16th is Armed Forces Day! It is a day to recognize and honor members of the U.S. armed forces. The Sacramento History Museum is a Blue Star Museum and we are proud to welcome the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families (maximum 6 admissions), including National Guard and Reserve to visit the Museum for free this summer. Show your military ID at the Front Desk beginning on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 16th through Labor Day, September 7th, and enjoy a day of learning about the history of early Sacramento.
