We have unfinished business. This May 16, we’re going to organize to finish it. The National Day of Action for Voting Rights takes the fight back to the original battlegrounds where our parents, grandparents and community fought for the Voting Rights Act with their own literal blood. But right now, emboldened extremist right-wing politicians are working to dismantle those rights, namely in Southern states. They want to silence us, disenfranchise us, erase us from congressional representation. This is the same fight our direct ancestors participated in. We’ve got to continue that fight. Join the National Day of Action for Voting Rights: 📣 9 AM in Selma, Alabama — Faith leaders gather at the Edmund Pettus Bridge for prayer 📣 📣 1–5 PM in Montgomery, Alabama — National Mass Rally at the Alabama State Capitol 📣 Not in Alabama? Reshare this post to spread the word. It’s going to take all of us to defend our rights and build our future. Learn more by visiting our link in bio!...
