London cabbie Tom Scullion says riders are constantly testing his knowledge of the city’s streets. To earn a license, taxi drivers must pass a 161-year-old test known as “the Knowledge.” Aspiring London cabbies have to memorize 25,000 streets, and thousands of landmarks and businesses. They must also know the shortest routes between them all. Scullion says comparing Google Maps to his knowledge is like “comparing a hot dog vendor to Gordon Ramsay.” #london #cabbie #taxidriver #googlemaps
