This is the culture we have encountered repeatedly in the Borderlands.
Over 300 people have been found D€∆D in this corridor west of El Paso in recent years. The majority identified as women and teenage girls.
And still:
— volunteers are dismissed
— concerns are minimized
— reported sites are ignored
— people searching for the D€∆D are discredited
— law enforcement turns its back instead of confronting the reality in front of them
This video is not about one deputy.
It is about a system that has normalized mass D€∆TH in the borderlands.
When volunteers repeatedly return to sites and continue finding b0n€s, personal belongings, and human r€m∆¡ns left behind, something is deeply broken.
The issue is not only D€∆TH.
The issue is NORMALIZATION.
Visibility is RESISTANCE.
Every search is an act of protest.
