I have my Landmark Preservation approval so I can take the mock up down. This mock up shows Landmarks people how tall my penthouse addition will be and that I am respecting the guidelines to preserve these neighborhoods and the sight-lines from the street so when you look up at some of the 180 yr old details of the cornice etc, it looks the same today as it did in 1838. And my neighbor is happy to not have this orange thing looming over her outdoor rooftop environment. Your neighbors are your business partner on these projects.
