The 501st Legion is saddened to learn of the passing of Honorary Member Michael Pennington. Known to Star Wars fans as Moff Jerjerrod in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, Pennington helped bring to life the Imperial officer overseeing construction of the second Death Star. Beyond Star Wars, he was an acclaimed Shakespearean actor, director, and writer who co-founded the English Shakespeare Company and earned admiration around the world for his distinguished stage career.
