From day one, Sara knew this was the program for her. She just didn’t know how much it would change her. When Sara walked into the College of Health Sciences as a freshman with a passion for exercise science, she couldn’t have predicted the professors, mentors, and moments that would shape the next four years of her life — or just how far that foundation would take her. A perfect 4.0 GPA, the Outstanding Senior in Exercise, Sport and Movement Sciences Award, and the honor of serving as Student Marshal for the College of Health Sciences at graduation are just a few of the milestones that marked her undergraduate journey. On top of that, through the Accelerated Bachelor-to-Master’s program, she completed 12 graduate credit hours before ever crossing the graduation stage. But it was her experience outside the traditional classroom that she felt like truly set her up for success.
