How I’m managing my SPD flare during pregnancy ⬇️ (SPD = pelvic pain and joint instability due to loosening pelvic joints) ✅First, lots of rest with 2-5 min walking breaks often. Keeping my steps close together to minimize pain. Laying down felt better than sitting personally. ✅Second, adding back in rehab exercises like shown in the video + internal pelvic floor release work ✅ Third, adding back in bilateral exercises (where both feet are stationary) unloaded then eventually loaded with weight (that’s where in currently at) ✅ Lastly, adding back in single leg exercises (hopefully!) and/or running if it doesn’t aggregate my pelvis SPD is a caused by a shearing of the pelvis and is EASILY the worst part of pregnancy in my opinion. I had it bad with Blake and looks like this pregnancy will be no different. But last time I completely wrote off all single leg exercises, this time I’m hoping to find a middle ground that allows me to continue to work out with the exercises I love! I...
