⚠️🌿Effective Monday, September 20, Alberta Health Services is implementing changes to Visitor/Designated Support policies in acute care sites across the province. As per updated guidelines available, the following changes will impact doulas and birthing families: LINK HERE: albertahealthservices.ca/topics/Page17001.aspx 🌿 Maternity: two (2) designated support persons can be identified and be on-site with the patient if physical distancing can be maintained. 🌿 Sites with outbreaks or on-watch situations may require additional restrictions. Doulas should check with their Zone Liaison to confirm status. 🌿 Designated Support Persons are strongly recommended by Alberta Health Services to be fully-immunized.
