Our relationship grew and she was so excited to be accepted into midwifery care. Late 1st trimester scans revealed that she had Velamentous Cord Insertion. The midwife transferred her care to an OB. My client was devastated about this transfer so I encouraged her to ask about shared care between the two, she did and they agreed! The next hurdle was self advocacy surrounding discussions about a scheduled C section.
