A Jindabyne long weekend done right 🤍 Thursday ~ rolled into the Snowy Mountains just in time for golden hour and settled straight into weekend mode. Friday ~ straight into the mountains for the Illawong Walk in Kosciuszko National Park. One of those walks that reminds you how lucky we are to have this kind of alpine scenery right on our doorstep. Picnic by the river included, obviously 🥪 The afternoon was all about slowing down ~ off-grid accommodation, fresh mountain air, a fire crackling away and a proper feast to finish the day. Saturday ~ an early start for the walk to Mount Kosciuszko… along with half of NSW apparently 🤣 The summit always delivers, but the Main Range Track on the way back? Absolutely breathtaking. Alpine lakes, rocky peaks, endless views and legs that definitely felt every kilometre afterwards. Naturally, recovery involved a big feed and margaritas back in Jindabyne.
