We’re all up in arms about Digital ID. But few are thinking through the actual implications. “Everything eventually ties back to money”. When identity and money become connected, the conversation changes. It stops being about convenience and starts being about control. If money can be programmable, conditional, time-limited, location-restricted, or behaviour-linked… then what exactly do you own? Most people will focus on the front-end pitch. Security. Simplicity.
