I’M BACK, MAN. Ok that may be a bit dramatic, but the last few months have had some unexpected surprises that slowed me down to a near stop. It feels nice to put real paint on panel again. This painting was originally started and meant to be a part of my solo show at @galleries1988 a couple years back. Today I’m picking up where I left off. I’m painting with @charvinarts and @turnercolourworks on @ampersand_art #gessobord all of which you can get at @jerrysartarama. I get all of my supplies from my friends at @jerrysprovidence when I’m in town, and I’ve actually been shopping there since I was in high school. Been a long time. The #ampersandgessobord panels are the only ones I use and have been using these for over ten years. I highly recommend 2 them. The surface has some tooth and take the paint smoothly without being too slick or too dry. Definitely give it a shot. I’ll have part two of this painting where I finish it tomorrow.
