This is a fun post for me. One: I love music, and it informs so much of my painting philosophy. From how I go about brushwork to color choices. I found my way through bands like Cream and Jimi Hendrix’s LIVE music where they typically explored sounds within the constraints of a 12 bar blues set up. For me the constraint were limited to head shoulder portraits and how I could maneuver through it. These paintings span from 2010-17 when my painting looked a bit different. What do you think?
