This week i donated thedanielbairdfoundation bleed control kit to City Hall & had the privilege of attending the Rise Up Conference, delivered by London Youth in partnership with London’s Violence Reduction Unit. An important reminder that investing in youth services means constantly learning, adapting, and staying connected to the realities young people face today. Throughout the day, I took part in workshops exploring financial exploitation, detached youth work, digital youth engagement & esports, burnout prevention, and heard powerful, practical examples from organisations making a difference across London. It was inspiring to hear from Pauline Daniyan and Lib Peck guest speakers on the future of youth work in London, violence reduction, and the challenges young people are navigating every day.
