One hill I’ll die on as a new twin mom: my babies do not need to be on the same schedule. All throughout my pregnancy, one of the biggest pieces of unsolicited advice I received was how important it was to “keep the twins on the same schedule.” And I understand why people say it. But I’ve never been a schedule mom. If my baby is asleep, I let them sleep. If they cry, I feed them. If they need comfort, I hold them. It’s always been that simple for me. And while having two babies at the same time is absolutely a lot, not forcing the same schedule has given me something really beautiful — intentional one-on-one time. If one baby is asleep, the awake baby gets uninterrupted attention. No pressure. No dividing myself in half. And honestly, that feels like one of the greatest gifts I can give my twins … and myself. 🤍 #twinmama #twinmomlife #fourthtrimester #newborntwins #identicaltwinboys
