During the 2026 CIAA Softball and Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the conference took time to recognize and celebrate our graduating seniors. This year, both championships unfortunately coincided with commencement ceremonies at many of our member institutions, meaning several student athletes had to make the difficult sacrifice of missing graduation in order to continue competing for their teams and schools. While they may not have been able to walk across the stage alongside their classmates, the CIAA made sure they were still recognized, celebrated, and honored among their peers, teammates, coaches, and the entire CIAA family. To the Class of 2026, thank you for everything you have poured into your institutions, your teams, and this conference. Your impact reaches far beyond competition. The CIAA is proud of you.
