You have outgrown this cage. It no longer fits you. At some point, we have to stop allowing fear, insecurity, self-doubt, and limitation to keep us living beneath who God created us to be. James 4:14 teaches us: “What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” Every time I think about my 23-year-old son who is no longer with us, I am reminded of just how precious life really is. While there is still blood in our veins, we must deepen our relationship with God and start taking bold steps of faith as we soar beyond our caged thinking. We cannot continue fearing what lies beyond the comfort of our cages. I am naïve enough to actually believe we can impact the entire world with the help of God. Are you?
