Your hamstrings aren’t tight because you forgot to stretch. They’re weak at end range, and 3 moves fix it.
Stretching every day but still stiff? Here’s why.
Your hamstrings often aren’t short. They’re weak in their longest position. When you can’t produce force there, your nervous system sees that range as unsafe and slams on the brakes.
Sitting all day makes it worse. Hamstrings shorten, glutes switch off, hip flexors tighten. Then you stand up, bend forward, and feel “tight.”
This isn’t a flexibility problem. It’s a strength problem.
Try these 3 drills:
• Seated Good Morning
• Single Leg RDL
• 90/90 Hip Switch
All bodyweight. All living room friendly. Build strength where you’re weak and your body stops fighting you.
Save this for later.
