The Boots of Honor Community Day of Remembrance at Bicentennial Park in Franklin, Tennessee on May 17, 2026. This community-driven event with America250, centered around the Boots of Honor Memorial - a massive traveling exhibit of 7,470 individual combat boots representing active U.S. service members killed since 9/11. Gold Star Families were presented with the boot of their loved ones and took part in a Boot-Laying Ceremony adding them to the existing exhibit. Additionally, the event included a color guard, Empty Table Ceremony, and a performance by Brooks Herring. Local sponsors had booths and activations for attendees and food trucks throughout the park.
