Big congratulations to Riverwood Track & Field Senior and UNC Commit, Morgan Parfaite, who won the State Championship in the 200-Meter Dash! This is the culmination of years of hard work and perseverance by this student-athlete. 🏆 Coming off her three region championships, Morgan brought home the following hardware from yesterday’s state championship. • 🏆State Champion - 200 Meter Dash 🥈State Runner-up - 400 Meter Dash 🥉Third Place - 100 Meter Dash • 🙌 This is Morgan’s first state championship (she finished in the top 4 in all three events at last year’s Championships), so we are thrilled to see her take home that win just days before graduation. ✍️ As of yesterday, Parfaite also became a THREE-time school record holder (100m, 200m, 400m dash) and is a member of the 4x200 school record relay team.
