Israel's military said Saturday it had killed Izz al-Din al-Haddad, the head of Hamas's military wing and one of the last senior architects of the October 7, 2023 attacks. ⁣ ⁣ A senior Hamas official confirmed his death to Reuters; Hamas has not made a public announcement.⁣ ⁣ Haddad, 55, was struck by an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Gaza City's Rimal neighborhood on Friday evening. ⁣ ⁣ Three jets dropped 13 bombs on the site.
