It was so lovely to see Angeliqua Smith again at The Fertility Show 💛 I remember meeting her there a few years ago when she and her husband were exploring IVF and wondering what their future might hold… and now they have two beautiful daughters ✨ Angelique has been through so much along the way — 9 miscarriages, 3 fresh IVF rounds and 2 frozen embryo transfers. One of those transfers brought them their precious first daughter. Following recurrent miscarriage, she later sought support from Dr Shahata at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and went on to welcome her second daughter naturally 💫 We also shared our own journeys together. After two rounds of IVF and five natural miscarriages, my second IVF brought me my beautiful twin girls, despite being told my chances were less than 1%.
