GryphonWSoccer GryphonMSoccer The Gryphons women’s soccer team finished the regular season 1st in the OUA West Division and ultimately earned OUA silver medals after reaching the OUA gold medal match. The Gryphons also earned a spot at nationals for the second time in program history. And for the first time in program history, a Gryphons women’s soccer player was named national player of the year, with Olivia Rizakos taking home 2025 U SPORTS Player of the Year honours. The Gryphons men’s soccer team had another solid season, earning a point in 9 of their 12 regular-season games under first-year head coach Alan Koch. The Gryphons returned to the OUA playoffs as the No. 4 seed where they were edged out by McMaster, 1-0, in their opening round playoff matchup.
