Chocolate Ragi Cookies/Nankhatai🍪
A fun way to incorporate nutritious goodness of millets in your little ones diet. Honestly, everyone in my house enjoys these not just my toddlers!😅
Recipe for Chocolate Ragi Cookies🍪
1/4 cup ghee
1 cup ragi flour
1/4 cup besan
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp dry fruits powder
1/2 cup jaggery powder
1 pinch salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
Warm milk as needed
Method:
In a mixing bowl, add ghee and the rest of the dry ingredients and mix.
Add warm milk as needed to form a moist dough , I ended up needing 4-5 tsp.
Divide dough into equal sized portions and flatten them slightly to give them a circular shape.
Give them your desired pattern and sprinkle some chopped almonds if you’d like.
Bake on 160°c/ 325°f for 18-20 mins.
Allow to cool down and enjoy🍪
