It keeps happening over and over and it’s illegal. It’s also wrong. I have service dog on my profile, I let the drivers know, he’s literally my profile photo. He’s a seizure alert service dog and nudges me before I have a seizure so I can take medication to prevent it. I am a liability without him. I have been allergic to dogs my entire life and have taken allergy shots + keep him well brushed out to have a life saving service dog. Service dogs are not pets which is why the ADA states that anything available to the public whether it’s privately owned or not, regardless of fear of dogs, regardless of allergies, they must be allowed to accompany their handler. Service dogs do not behave like pets. They don’t sit in the seat.
