For nearly 40 years, Carol Shipley '84 told her husband the same thing: go back to Aggieland, finish what you started and get your ring. This spring, Mike Shipley '26 was able to follow through on Carol's long-standing request. Mike earns his degree this Saturday and will be wearing not just one, but two Aggie rings - one on his finger, set with the diamond from Carol's wedding ring, and one on his wrist, the etchings worn nearly smooth from the life of an Aggie well lived.
