π©Ί I'm a surgeon. And I'll tell you honestly β not everyone who walks into my office needs surgery.
That might surprise you coming from someone who's spent 25+ years in the operating room. But here's the truth: surgery is the most powerful tool I have. And the most powerful tools deserve to be used at exactly the right moment β not as a first instinct.
My approach for every patient is the same. We start conservative β physical therapy, targeted care, rehabilitation. If that's not enough, we move to regenerative medicine: PRP, stem cells, exosome therapy, and our in-office nano-scope procedures that diagnose and treat without general anesthesia. Then minimally invasive options. And only when all of that is insufficient do we talk about the OR.
Because the goal was never to perform surgery. The goal is to restore your function, eliminate your pain, and get you back to doing what you love β by whatever path gets you there safest and fastest. πͺ
