🇳🇮 Seattle Sounders midfielder Sebastián Gómez became the first Nicaraguan to play in MLS according to La Prensa, a newspaper in Nicaragua. The 19-year-old made his debut in the final minutes of a 2-0 loss to the LA Galaxy. Gómez has roots in Canada, Nicaragua and the United States making him eligible for all 3 national teams. La Prensa added that the coaching staff of the Nicaraguan U-20 national team are interested in the player.
