#UNLVGrad Glenda Ordonez is graduating with her Master of Hospitality Administration and was selected as one of UNLV's commencement speakers this spring. She describes this as an honor that reflects her belief that it’s never too late to pursue new goals and rediscover your voice.
First impression: “My first impression of UNLV was how diverse, welcoming, and full of opportunity it felt. As a returning graduate student balancing work, family, and academics, I initially felt nervous about stepping back into the classroom after many years. But over time, UNLV became a place where I rediscovered confidence, purpose, and a deeper passion for learning.”
