From excelling in the classroom to performing with unlvscarlet, Gianna Ortiz graduated this spring from unlvpsychology with cum laude honors. Learn how this #UNLVGrad made the most out of her time as a Rebel: Favorite memory: “One of my favorite memories was traveling with the Scarlet Dance Line and having the opportunity to perform alongside my teammates and the UNLV Star of Nevada Marching Band.” Favorite classes: “A few of my favorite classes were PSY 200 and CFT 428. Some of my favorite professors and mentors were Dr. David Copeland, Dr. Kris Gunawan, Dr. Brandon Eddy, and Professor Dustin Perkins.” After graduation, Gianna plans to work in the mental and behavioral health field while pursuing her Master’s degree, to become a therapist and serve her community.
