The Smashing Pumpkins just held a funeral for singer Billy Corgan’s alter ego, Zero. 🪦 EW was among the mourners invited to the service, which ended in a mini concert and an announcement for the band’s upcoming tour. Corgan created his persona based on the song of the same name from the group’s acclaimed 1995 album, ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.’ The rocker’s Zero shirt became a staple of his wardrobe, the group’s fans, and even the lead character of ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.’ #SmashingPumpkins #BillyCorgan #Concerts
