This holiday season, seeing mistletoe may be a welcome sight if a loved one is near. Although, it can be an unwelcome intruder when found in your trees.
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Horticulturist Allison Watkins shared how the romantic holiday symbol is a semi-parasitic plant. Mistletoe causes tree stress and can make a tree more susceptible to diseases and insects.
