Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Disaster Assessment and Recovery agents spent two days learning about how to safely rescue horses and other large animals with techniques and strategies taught by the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service Emergency Services Training Institute.
The training activity is an ongoing partnership with TEEX and the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Emergency team, all are part of the The Texas A&M University System. Through training exercises such as these, the teams are building tighter relationships and working together to keep Texas prepared.
