As we lead up to #veteransday2022, we are celebrating some of the many people, programs and partnerships that help Texans thrive ⬇️ Today, we feature Texas AgrAbility, which offers services to individuals with disabilities, chronic health conditions and functional limitations to empower them to start or stay engaged with agriculture. “Among all U.S. states, Texas has the second largest number of military veterans. About 45 percent of returning vets are from rural areas, and we want to enable them — whether or not they have a disability — to return to the area of production agriculture they choose.” -Erin Kimbrough, Texas AgrAbility program coordinator #NIFAImpacts #AgriLifeExtension More about this expanding program at the #LinkInBio.
