In one weekend trip to Aggieland, California native Ryder Nielson ’23 knew he wanted to call the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences his academic home. Nielson didn’t have a poultry background but fell in love with the Texas A&M University Poultry Science department and the sense of family unity among the staff and students.
Before he graduated in December 2023, Nielson reflected on his time as a student and the opportunities that would benefit his future.
