Alicia Walker '22 had an unconventional journey during her time in the Texas A&M University - College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. A wife, mother of two and attending college from two states away, Walker said that earning her Ph.D. was the most challenging time of her life.
“I didn’t choose poultry science; poultry science chose me,” said Walker.
She chose a major in the Texas A&M University Poultry Science department because the program offered a flexible remote schedule with one of the most renowned poultry science programs in the country.
