As we wind down our month of gratitude to those who contribute to the greatness here at Texas A&M University, we would like to thank the Lastovica family and Chris Skaggs, professor in the Texas A&M Animal Science department, associate vice chancellor for producer relations and dean for student development in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Skaggs is known for his legacy in livestock, as well as for going above and beyond to connect with and teach our students. Making a point to ensure excellence through upholding our Aggie core values, Skaggs has proven to be an incredible influence. With this impact in mind, the Lastovica family created the Dr. Skaggs Excellence Endowment in Animal Science.
