So in 2023, we began overhauling it using voter-approved bond funding. With new street lighting, improved crosswalks, bike protections, and a new traffic signal at Quicksilver Boulevard, we’re already seeing real results. 📉 Speeding is down 58% 📉 Crashes are down 30% 📉 Injury & fatal crashes are down 8% Every street and intersection in Austin should be safe, accessible, and reliable for everyone who calls this city home, and I look forward to making that vision a reality. 💜
