I can't believe it's already been a year since our trip to Lafayette. This city is definitely a hidden gem and one that is not talked about enough. If you’re planning a trip to Lafayette, here’s what you should know before you go: 🍽️ Come hungry. Lafayette is a serious food city, so make room for gumbo, boudin, crawfish, po’boys, beignets, and all the Cajun + Creole flavors. 🚗 Rent a car. A lot of the best spots are spread out, especially if you want to visit New Iberia, Avery Island, the Tabasco Factory, or Jungle Gardens. 🎶 Don’t skip the live music.
