“Education is the gateway to success. It can change economic trajectories.” Gerald Cooper ’96 was drawn to Bryant for its business acumen and its strong emphasis on global business. He didn’t have an exact career path in mind beyond his central focus on finance, but his willingness to step into uncertainty has definitely paid off. Over the last 20 years, Gerald has built his career by consistently taking on roles that didn’t yet exist. He created new structures across different organizations, laying the foundations for scaling enterprises alongside the markets they serve. Tonight, Gerald will be honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award at the @bryantuniversity Alumni Achievement Awards.
