It’s almost been a year since I graduated from Cal Poly, and I still can’t fully put into words how much that chapter changed me 🥹🤍
As a first generation Latina, getting to walk across that stage with honors meant more than just earning a degree. It meant sacrifices, growth, late nights, community, friendships, memories, and becoming the version of myself I once prayed for.
I’ve spent months grieving that chapter because some places aren’t just schools… they become home.
But maybe this diploma isn’t a reminder that something ended. Maybe it’s proof that something beautiful happened… and that something even bigger is still waiting for me.
Thank you Cal Poly for every lesson, every person, every opportunity, and every version of me I got to become there 🌿✨
